1.1 MAAC offers opportunities to members and non members to engage in matches and championships in Air Pistol Practical Shooting.
1.2 MAAC offers 4 different Air Pistol events that can be performed either in form of a match or championship.
1.3 MAAC reserves the right to deny other clubs from entering open competitions.
1.4 All members and non-members competing in MAAC-APPS events must have a TS-B license and Insurance policy and must be a member of a club.
2. MAAC– APPS event types.
2.1 MAAC- STEEL PLATE CHALLENGE
This is an event open for air / co2 pistols single or multishot.
Calibers 0.177 – 0.22 (airgun pellet) or 6mm airsoft pellet (plastic B.D.). The rules covering MAAC–Steel Plate can be found in Appendix A of this document MAAC-SP.
2.2 MAAC-Practical Air Pistol.
This is an event open for CO2 or gas driven multishot pistols only.
Calibers 0.177 or 6mm airsoft ( plastic B.D.). The rules covering MAAC-Practical Shooting can be found in Appendix B of this document MAAC-PS.
2.3 MAAC- Air pistol Target Precision Shooting.
This is an event open for Spring – Air of CO2 single shot pistols.
Calibers 0.177 or 0.22. The rules covering MAAC-ATPS can be found in Appendix C of this document MAAC-ATPS.
3. Safety General.
3.1 In ALL MAAC-APPS event the Protective Eye Shooting Glasses is mandatory.
3.2 All other safety rules are explained in the specific rule books.
3.3 All persons are required to be in complete control both mentally and physically during MAAC matches. The regulations of the Worldwide Anti-Doping Code (best practices models written by the World Anti-Doping Agency – A.M.A.) completely apply to all the people and all the competitions taking place under the authority of the MAAC.
